We work to ensure that this goal is met through our many publications and resources for parents and health professionals. Our role in child and family health involves working with governments to make sure the right kind of policies are developed; working with professionals and educators to equip them with the best in research and programs; and reaching out to families to help with the crucial task of nurturing, protecting, educating, and empowering our children. We are determined to give all of our children the best possible future by making them a top priority. We are a national charitable organization with a volunteer Board of Directors, top Canadian advisors in the child health field, and a professional staff. For further information Canadian Child Care FederationFor 15 years, the Canadian Child Care Federation (CCCF) has worked to improve the quality of child care services for Canadian families. The CCCF provides information to and facilitates "networking" among a broad range of target groups. Our services and programs are targeted to direct service providers, child care organizations, educational institutions, government policy makers and public opinion leaders. The CCCF supportes initiatives that increase the skill, expertise and awareness of the target groups in their respective roles in support of improved quality of child care services. This focus on education is built into many CCCF initiatives and actions. Its focus on policy and research influences the child care policy framework and supportes research that improves the quality of child care services. The CCCF is a registered charitable organization with over 9,000 members from provincial and territorial charitable organization affiliates.
